MathLeaf for OverLeaf is a specialized add-on designed to improve the LaTeX editing experience within the OverLeaf platform. This free tool features an advanced math palette that allows users to easily access a wide range of mathematical symbols and presets. By simply clicking on the desired symbol, users can insert LaTeX math directly into their documents, enhancing productivity and efficiency. The palette is conveniently accessible via a button located at the bottom-right corner of the OverLeaf editor.
One of the standout features of MathLeaf is its real-time preview functionality, which allows users to see how their LaTeX math will appear as they type. Additionally, users can quickly insert equations as either inline or block formats, and the document can be recompiled instantly after any additions. For further convenience, the palette can be activated to preview and edit selected equations, currently supporting inline equations and block equations wrapped with the {equation} command.
